Would you ever give up your gun...really?

I have a  mossberg 500 shot gun. I am a wrangler and so use it only for dispatching livestock or vermin. I truly believe that no one wishes to take this useful tool away from me. But.. if confronted by a uniformed Police Officer,.. I give up my gun.

As the article at the end of the link above explains: uniform trumps off duty. I feel everything trumps civilian!
