I am a civilian Federal Agent lucky enough to be working in the newly formed Special Victims Unit of the US Army Criminal Investigation Command. Formerly, I was a United States Marine, served in the Army as a Criminal Investigator, as a civilian police officer in Central Texas and also was a supervisor, State Police Investigator, and chief of a regional law enforcement academy.
