Were up to 2200 officers trained on x26 now, running out of room on my Taser handle for the notches(lol). Lot of officers taking the ride, which surprises me but I think its more being curious then anything else. Now if they would only leave that safety switch alone while its on!!!!

Last week of Taser training in the windy city, 3000 trained and counting. Can't say enough about the guys I work with, even after being mentally drained the professionalism and safety was never compromised.

I just wanted to make a comment on Thor. When people are needlessly taken from us by animal like behavior we tend to say the fallen was a nice and good guy. This is going on now about Thor in our law enforcement community. I had the honor of meeting Thor a couple weeks ago when his class of recruits came through our program and I have to say that he was a great guy. He was so optimistic about training and life that if you were to hear him in passing, the average salty CPD officer would call him a dork. This is a loss beyond belief if you ever had the opportunity to meet and speak to this honorable man. No doubt he is in a better place than us all and he is looking down and wishing he had more time to influence this negative society. Just maybe God had his hand in all this in that he took one true hero and left the other FOUR officers that that animal shot at that tragic afternoon for one of them may serve a greater purpose in the future. I don't know but I would like to think that there is a reason for this sadness. RIP T.S.

Been a Taser instructor for approx: 6 yrs now, have trained approx: 8 different departments in my area. A GREAT tool for us in Law Enforcement. SFCstevens
