It is about time someone developed a site for Law Enforcement. This is like the law enforcement version of "Myspace" or "Facebook".

I hope this group is used to pass information on to each other. We are all experiencing budget constraints and not able to do a lot of travel to get training. I will relish any information provided on this site.

This is a great idea. It will be up to us to make sure it stays that way. Keep it professional but fun.

Consider this guys: We have all been taught to have a suspect face us, turn around and lay down on the ground facing away from us during a felony stop or similar circumstance. This leaves their hands concealed. Stats indicate that the favorite place to carry firearms for bad guys in the front waistband. As they move to the ground facing away, we loose sight of the threat. We are now teaching to have them face us, and then prone out - there is no greater threat and we can see their hands and potential weapons quicker. Rey it with a partner. On the way down, the partner should first face away, grab their weapon turn and shoot - the reaction time for us to see this places us at greater risk.

When you know the subject has warrants confirmed and he is going to jail:
handcuff him while he sits in the driver seat. It is not that difficult and you have more control over the subject sitting there.
what do you think? positive, negative let me hear from you.
