Has anyone heard if they caught the scum who killed the K9 in Houston?

You all are invited to join the ILPWDA group on facebook (Illinois Police Work Dog Assoc). You do not need to be from Illinois. Don't worry, no e-mails, no spam, just a bunch of dog people.

"K9 Kapers" We Need Your Shorts--Stories that is!

We all have them. Those funny short stories about our K9 experiences and sometimes unpredictable dogs--stories we have shared over and over with our colleagues. We tell them all the time. Now you have a chance to share them with readers and at the same time benefit our organization and its membership. We are appealing to all you aspiring writers to submit your favorite humorous TRUE stories. "K9 Kapers" will compile these humorous short stories in a publication about officers and their K9s for the enjoyment of others. The idea is for a paperback booklet, no pictures, but a few hand-drawn figures to be produced. Any and all profits would go to the USPCA Foundation. Now the best part--you do not have to be a great writer, speller or master of the King's English. You just need to be able to put the facts on paper. Marilyn Walton, established writer, has offered to proof and re-write the reported facts in her remarkable style. The thing we need is for you to write your story down and send or email it to . Do it now, multiple submissions are fine. We would prefer all stories be submitted by March 15th. Names can be withheld on request or a nick name, or badge number used.
