Wow..It does my heart good to see that there are so many dedicated instructors out there..So how many of your departments allow you too teach in house without handing you a ration of crap..The full time department I just retired from ALWAYS had reasons for not allowing me to teach.

Hi everyone I am Scott Minder. I work for the Mono County Sheriff's Department in the Eastern Sierra's where there is the best fishing in California. I am glad I found this site, to talk with other instructors.

Now I know a lot of you guys have self defense schools. Big or small.

Nothing? Nobody? Do cops still work sidegigs or is that left to the firefighters?
www.sidegig.com is running a new year special. Worth checking out if you run a sidegig.

For all of you instructors that fall into the 9th Circuit Court Jurisdiction please take note of the following case decision that came down from the court last month. Their decision can have a big factor in how you will be teaching Taser if the decision stands.
CARL BRYAN, ü
Plaintiff-Appellee, No. 08-55622
v. D.C. No.
BRIAN MCPHERSON; CORONADO ý 3:06-CV-01487-
POLICE DEPARTMENT; CITY OF LAB-CAB
CORONADO, a municipal OPINION corporation,

The following is a link that you can cut and paste into your browser, which should take you to the case decision.

Pray the decision does not stand and that no one follows it anywhere else. Judges need to stick to things they understand and defensive tactics do not even come close.

Ah the joys of the 3-ring court of the 9th Circus ... no tickets required!!!
