I see several trainers out there who enjoy MMA. I would seriously suggest they look into Krav Maga. The civillian school I trained at also ran MMA classes that I thoughouly enjoyed.

This is an area near and dear to my heart. I have been out of law enforcement for a number of years but wish to re-hire over the next 12 months. My background is 38 years in the martial arts including study of 8+ different arts with black belts in 6 of them. I have taught defensive tactics to police in PA first and later in NC. I taught a section on impact weapons a number of years ago at the NC Justice Academy. Currently I have my own martial arts school. My practical down to earth, what will really work material has been taught to a couple of local officers and two FBI agents as well. Stand up control techniques are my strength and ground work my weakest area. I prefer the straight stick or PR-24 any day to the asp.
