Wow..It does my heart good to see that there are so many dedicated instructors out there..So how many of your departments allow you too teach in house without handing you a ration of crap..The full time department I just retired from ALWAYS had reasons for not allowing me to teach.

Hi fellow instructors, I am a Mass certified DT instructor...have been one since 2001. ALso ceritfied in MDTS (Monadnock) DT and baton instructor trainer. as well as a less lethal force, and Firearms instructor. I'm also an FTO, among many other things...I'm looking forward to learning and sharing ideas....

Hello, Just discovered the website, hope to learn the latest and greatest from everyone. Have been a DT, firearms inst. for 13 years. Also teach baton, taser and oc for my department. Full time trainer for 3 years.

I'm a PPCT-DT, ASP (Tactical Baton &Tactical Handcuffing) Instructor and Def-Tec OC Instructor. I also co-instruct for the Weld County Law Enforcement Training Academy, Greeley, CO. I have been an instuctor since 1997 and am currently working toward becoming a POST instructor for Colorado.

This is an area near and dear to my heart. I have been out of law enforcement for a number of years but wish to re-hire over the next 12 months. My background is 38 years in the martial arts including study of 8+ different arts with black belts in 6 of them. I have taught defensive tactics to police in PA first and later in NC. I taught a section on impact weapons a number of years ago at the NC Justice Academy. Currently I have my own martial arts school. My practical down to earth, what will really work material has been taught to a couple of local officers and two FBI agents as well. Stand up control techniques are my strength and ground work my weakest area. I prefer the straight stick or PR-24 any day to the asp.

Just joined the group. I am former instructor of fire arms, ASP, quemical agents, Flash bangs, TASER, Patrol Tactics, Fast Rope, and a Police academy Resuorse from the Puerto Rico Police. I Been 10 Yaers Air Crew From the PRPD Helicpter Unit Working as a FLIR Operator Rescue Swimmer and First defence for the helicopters.

Hello all. I am a ACCJT certified defensive tactics/counter assault tactics instructor. I also teach Use of Force, OC and Excited Delirium. I'm attending Taser and ASP instructors schools in a couple of weeks. Looking forward to some good discussions and information here!
