Hi all i'm looking for a little info. I have training in PPCT,ASP,SPON Knife Defense. Here next month i'll be taking 2 day GAGE training. I know GAGE is ground based tactics. Is it good!

I'm a traditional Shotokan karate martial artist, a 3rd degree Japan Karate Association Black Belt, student of Sensei Takayuki Mikami. Although very much involved with SWAT and firearms instruction, I have never been formally been involved with my agency's defensive tactics programs; but, it looks like in the future I will naturally gravitate into a leadership role within the department. I look forward to going to FLETC and doing their 3 week program in the fall to get me started in the right direction. I hope to learn from you guys and contribute to the group as best I can.
