I was with the Philadelphia Police Department for 28 1/2 years, most of the time in investigations. I was in uniform for 12 years, with South Detective Division for 3 years and then with the Sex Crimes Unit / Special Victims Unit for 14 years. I am now retired from the Philadelphia Police Department and after spending 2 years in uniform at my new agency, I am now a detective with the University of Pennsylvania Police Department. I agree with Shaun, if we can assist each other, our jobs become easier. Be safe everyone.

I have 25+ years law enforcement experience and am currently serving as a Detective Sergeant in our Crimes Against Perons Unit. I have been in the unit for over 6 years now and supervise 2 sex crimes detectives as well as our warrant squad. Plus conduct my own investigations. My unit also investigates all officer involved shootings. I am more than happy to share any information I can with my fellow detectives. Stay safe everyone!

I appreciate all of the comments left by members. If we are in agreement I will use this forum as a sounding board for forensic techniques. I also think we can keep one another aprised of things occuring around our neck of the woods. :)
Be safe, best to you and your families.

Hello everyone, I wanted to introduce myself to the group. I have been in law enforcement since 1989. I currently run the LAPD's Polygraph Unit. We administer an average of 500 polygraph examinations per month. Most of our exams are police applicants followed by criminal exams and internal screens.

I am also the President & Director of the Orange County Polygraph Institute, www.ocpica.com were we focus on polygraph and law enforcement training.

Be safe,

Len
