There is such a wide variety of Groups within our OfficerConnect website, however I couldn't find a Group that had discussions about this Breed of Officers, so I created one. Thanks.

My problem is that there is so many more NEW groups on here, but NO PROFILE or GROUP pictures up. Why is this??? Sometimes I wonder if the lot of you (No photo on profiles) aren't really just all of the same person as I have experienced in the past as an Admin on another network. I'ld really like to see some profile pics posted. Also, reading over your profile Troy, is this sort of field something you have worked in before since you are also a First Responder, or no?

Curious why you had created this group, since there aren't many members willing to join. On one of my other networks, we have a Tech group set up and over on that, though we cater over a few hundred officers, I'm the only other one other then the group creator that has ever joined... What will happen to this group if you get no one else wanting to join and topics become lacked with discussion? You understand?

I was EOD in the military back in the day,  loved the job and would not hesitate to do it again.  Sadly my agency does not have a bomb disposal mission.

I was a one man bomb squad back in the 70's.....They sent me to school and said go get em'.........I enjoyed the school which was put on by the FBI, thankfully I never really had to use what I learned...our Police Station was fire bombed and there were a few small incidents, but nothing too serious......

Hello all, I am looking for info to put together a solid proposal to obtain/deploy an explosives detection k-9 team. Any policy info, suggested use/ deployment options for such a team, or a sample proposal used by another department would be greatly appreciated.
