The most difficult call of my career was when an undercover narcotics detective transaction in East Orange, NJ took a violent turn when an alleged drug dealer lurked in the shadows and fired upon detectives, shooting one officer in the back. Then ran to the roof of the building and started to fire upon POLICE OFFICERS ARRIVING FROM NUMEROUS MUNICIPALITIES
