K9 Book

As an author, I found few books were written about police K9s. So, I wrtote Badge on My Collar--A Chronicle of Courageous Canines. It did very well and landed on amazon.com's Top 100 Best-Selling Animal Books. The RCMP used it as a prize in their Name the Puppy Contest for Canadian school children, and the USPCA used it to raise funds. Recently, the sequel to that book came out. It has some international stories as well as ones from the U.S. The new book is called, Badge on My Collar II--To Serve with Honor. I found out yesterday that the cover won a book cover contest, thus proving, I think, that no one can resist a pretty canine face!

I have felt privileged to profile yet fifteen more dogs in this book. They and their handlers are the unsung heroes, and I hope I have done them all justice. If you are looking for a book to read to your four-legged partner, this could be the one.
