External Vest Carriers

My department is switching from light blue uniform shirts to a dark navy colored uniform shirt. One of the reasons given for the switch is so that we can wear external vests from the same manufacturer of our body armor who does not produce an external carrier that matches our current shirt. Plus, the manufacturer would not guarantee the warranty on the vest if we used some other carrier. I live in Texas. It is February and we are experiencing mid 70 degree weather this week. Hooray for external vests. Take that heat and humidity.
