Caribbean law enforcement?

I am considering a move to a Caribbean island, need info on employment with island law enforcement, or I would be happy to work for a resort as security. Any one have any knowledge of salaries, good/bad companies to work for, pros and cons for this career idea, ANYTHING will do. There is very little good info on this topic i can find on the internet. Ideas anyone? Thanks.
